Converting Load to Gcash

Have you been wondering if converting loads to Gcash is possible?

The answer to the question is NOT ANYMORE.

Due to the fraudulent activities connected to converting your prepaid load to Gcash balance, the feature is no longer available.

On the internet, you will see multiple options from downloading another application to sending your credit to someone else. However, to ensure your account is safe, avoid transactions with non-authorized applications or personnel.

Effective February 20, 2017, this feature has been removed with Gcash.

However, another way to convert load to gcash balance is to sell load and go to the nearest Gcash partners to cash in.

Converting Globe load to Gcash

The process for converting your Globe prepaid load to Gcash is selling or transferring your load to another globe or Touch Mobile (TM) number. This is known as Share-A-Load.

Instead of paying you in cash, you can ask the subscriber to transfer the funds to your Gcash account. You will be charged for P1 for every Share-a-load transaction.

How to Share-a-load:

First Option: Via SMS

With PIN

Open your text application. Enter the amount <space> PIN, send to 2 + 10-digit TM or Globe number.

Example: 50 4567, send to 29171234567

Without PIN

Open your text application. Enter the amount <space>, send to 2 + 10-digit TM or Globe number.

Example: 50, send to 29171234567

Once done, wait for the confirmation SMS on your mobile number. Reply YES to proceed with the transaction. The load will be transferred within 5 minutes.

Second Option: Via *143#

Step 1. Dial *143# from your mobile phone.

Step 2. Type “0” for My Account from the menu.

Step 3. Choose “3” for Share-A-Load/Promo/MB

Step 4: Choose among the following options

1 Share load w/o pin

2 Share load w pin

3 Share promo w/o pin

4 Share promo w pin

Step 5: Enter the amount and the 10-digit mobile number of the recipient. Replace 0 with 2.

Converting Smart load to Gcash

Like Globe credit, you can convert your Smart load to Gcash balance via “selling” or transferring your credit to another person, with a minimum of P2. The process is called pasaload.

Regular credit

Open your text messaging app, type Pasaload <11-digit mobile number> space <amount>, send to 808.

Example Pasaload 09611234567 50, send to 808

Promotion package

Open your text messaging app, type PASALOAD <11-digit mobile number> space <promo code>, send to 808.

Ex.: Pasaload 09181234567 GST50

Some of the Promo packages are:

• GIGA VIDEO 50 (GVD50) – includes 1 GB video (YouTube, NBA, iWant, Cignal Play) plus + 1 GB data plus Unlimited All Net Texts for 3 days. The amount is for P50 valid for 3 days.
• GIGA VIDEO 99 (GVD99) – includes 1 GB video (YouTube, NBA, iWant, Cignal Play) plu 2 GB data. You will be charged P99 valid for 7 days.

Once you have enough balance in your Gcash account, you can go ahead and withdraw the amount over-the-counter or using your Gcash Mastercard.

Convert Gcash Balance to regular load

Now, if you need a prepaid load for your mobile or for other mobile numbers, you can use your Gcash balance to buy some credits. You will be entitled to rebate for every transaction up to a maximum of P50.

Step 1: Open your GCash app.

Step 2: Tap “Buy Load”.

Step 3: Enter the mobile number or select the number from your directory. Press “Next”.

Step 4: Select the load amount or promotion package. Choose “Next”.

Step 5: Verify all the details. Tap “Pay” to proceed.

Step 6: Wait for the confirmation SMS indicating that the transaction is successful.

You may not be able to directly convert your prepaid credit or load to cash but you can always use other options to convert it to your Gcash balance. The good news is when you have enough balance in your Gcash account, you can earn money through rebates when selling load to subscribers from all networks.
