The term gcash cash out also means withdrawal of funds in your account.

Ways to Cash Out Your Gcash Balance 

Withdrawing money from your e-wallet has never been easier with Gcash. Here are various ways on how to withdraw money from Gcash:

• ATM Withdrawal
• Over-the-counter
• Bank transfer

As mentioned above, there three two ways to withdraw your funds.

Cash out with Gcash Mastercard

You can withdraw money from Bancnet or Megalink-affiliated ATM using your Gcash Mastercard.

Using the Gcash Mastercard is the easiest way to cash out money from your Gcash wallet. It works like a regular debit or ATM card, where you can insert it in any Megalink or BancNet affiliated bank.

To enjoy the full benefit of the card, you have to link the card to your Gcash account. You have two options to link the card, either via USSD or through the app.

After you have linked your card to your account, you can start using the Mastercard. Withdraw from regular ATMs like other ATMs.

One thing you have to ensure is that you have an extra Php 20 for the withdrawal of your funds. Example. If you want to withdraw Php 1000.00 from your account, make sure that you have a least of Php 1020 in your account to process the request. The extra Php 20 is for the withdrawal fee.

Cash out Without a card

For instances where you don’t have a card or waiting for one, cashing out is still possible. One thing you need to do, though, is to fully verify the account to experience all the benefits of Gcash. Over-the-counter options include cashing out at partner pawnshops, department stores, payment centers, and supermarkets. These are Gcash accredited partners:

The splendid news is you can even use your app to look for the nearest cash out centers. Follow the instructions below:

Step 1: Open your Gcash app. Then click on the Show More icon. Under Funds Management, go to Cash out.

Step 2: Click on View nearby partners.

Step 3: It will direct you to a map of where you are and nearby cash out centers. The orange pin is you and the blue pins are the nearest outlets. Click on each pin to check the details of the establishment.

Cash Out in Cebuana Lhuillier

No need for cards, cash it out via authorized partners such as Cebuana Lhuillier.

Gcash withdrawal over the counter is the same with withdrawing from the bank. Follow the instructions below to cash out from Cebuana.

Step 1: Open you Gcash app and check if the amount you wish to withdraw is reflected in your account.

Step 2: Look for the nearest branch of Cebuana Lhuillier from your phone. Visit the branch within their working hours.

Step 3: Ask for a Gcash Service Form from the pawnshop personnel. Tell them that you are withdrawing funds from your Gcash account.

Step 4: Write down your personal details, such as

• Gcash registered mobile number
• Name
• Amount you wish to cash out

Step 5: Present the completed form to the authorized personnel, together with your valid government ID.

Step 6: Wait for the personnel to enter your details in their system. A text message will be sent to the Gcash registered mobile number asking for your MPIN. Reply to the SMS with your MPIN. Make sure that you have credits to send a text message to the number.

Step 7: The personnel will be notified if the transaction was successful. Once confirmed, collect your money from the cashier.

Step 8: You will also receive a confirmation text to your Gcash registered mobile number once the transaction has been completed.

Withdrawal Fees

You will be charged 2% of the amount you withdrew whenever you cash out via Cebuana Lhuillier. Let’s say you cashed out Php 2000. You will be charged 40 for the withdrawal fee. So, you will get Php 1,960 from the cashier.

Cash out the easy way. All you need is your phone and valid ID with Gcash.

Cash out Gcash over-the-counter

Over-the-counter options in cashing out, share the same process in withdrawing cash. The list includes:

• Pawnshops (PeraHub, Tambunting, and Palawan Express)
• Supermarket (Puregold)
• Payment Centers (TrueMoney, Posible)
• Department Stores (SM, Robinsons).

Step 1: Go to the Gcash app and login, verify if you have received the amount sent by the sender.

Step 2: Visit a branch of Pawnshop to withdraw the funds. Use your app to look for the nearest branch.

Step 3: Talk to the pawnshop personnel to inform them you are going to withdraw your funds from Gcash.

Step 4: Get a Gcash Service Form. Fill in all the details, including the Gcash-registered mobile number and the amount you want to take out.

Step 5: Submit your completed form to the cashier, together with a valid government ID.

Step 6: After the personnel key in the details of your transaction, you will receive a text asking for your Mpin. Reply with your Mpin. Ensure you have enough credit for text messages to avoid the hassle.

Step 7: Wait for the personnel to receive the confirmation and then collect the money.

Step 8: A confirmation SMS will be sent to the Gcash registered number after they complete the transaction.

Cash out at Seven Eleven

Seven-Eleven (7-11) has Cliqq Kiosk or the Cliqq app for any Gcash transaction. But it is currently restricted for cash-in and purchasing Gcash Mastercard. At the moment, cash-out is not available. Read also: How to load Gcash in 7-eleven.

Cash out Gcash in M Lhuillier

No. Currently, M Lhuillier is not part of the accredited partners of Gcash. You can check with Cebuana Lhuillier for any Gcash related transactions.

Cash out Gcash in LBC

No. LBC only supports Gcash cash in at the moment.

Cash out Gcash in RD Pawnshop

Yes. Refer to the instructions on cashing out over-the-counter for the process.

Cash out to another Bank

One trick used to avoid withdrawal fees is transferring the funds to GSave which is linked to a CIMB Bank account. From there, you can withdraw over the counter or use CIMB ATM to withdraw without fees.

On the dashboard page, tap on Save Money to deposit or withdraw money. You can even schedule a fund transfer to save a portion of your hard-earned cash.

Bank transfers are also convenient, as you can withdraw the funds if you don’t have the Mastercard yet. Every bank transfer has a charge of Php 15.00 regardless of the amount, still lesser the withdrawal fees of the Gcash Mastercard itself.

Here is how to process a bank transfer:

Step 1: On the main page or dashboard, tap on Bank Transfer.

Step 2: Choose the bank icon that you prefer.

Step 3: You will be directed to the banking details where you have to key in the amount you wish to transfer, account name, account number, and email address (optional).

Step 4: Once done, tap on Send Money.

Step 5: It will direct you to the confirmation page which contains all the details of the bank transfer.

Step 6: Wait for the text message and email confirming that the process was successful and the funds have been immediately transferred.

Cash out through Palawan Express

Yes. You can cash out through Palawan Express. Before you ask anyone to send you Gcash, ensure your account is fully verified before proceeding with the transaction. The process for cashing out is the same with Cebuana Lhuillier and RD Pawnshop.

Gcash withdrawal fee

Gcash Mastercard works like any regular ATM or debit card. Whenever you withdraw cash from MegaLink or BancNet ATM, you will be charged Php 20 per withdrawal. For International withdrawals, they will deduct a charge of Php 150 from your current balance.

Cashing out over-the-counter is another option. This transaction charges you 2% of the amount withdrawn or Php 20 for every Php 1000. You can choose between paying it upfront to the cashier or deducting the fee from the amount you cash out.

Gcash withdrawal limit

The minimum amount for GCash Mastercard withdrawal is Php 500 while the maximum daily amount is Php 50,000 per day for MasterCard withdrawal.

Do this if you receive a suspicious cash-out

Sometimes you get caught up in fraudulent or suspicious transactions. To avoid this, safeguard your Mpin or password at all times.

If this happens, one of the first things you have to do immediately is to change your Mpin.

Afterwhich, contact Gcash Customer Support immediately via chat or calling hotline 2882 within business hours. Otherwise, you can also submit a ticket with the following details:

• Category: My Gcash Account – I want to report an unauthorized transaction in my account.
• Gcash registered mobile number
• Your Name
• Details of the concern
• Date and Time of the transaction
• Reference No. (SMS)
• Screenshot (if available)

You must report the unauthorized transaction within fifteen (15) days from the date the fraudulent transaction occurred to be eligible for the Customer Protect Program. The support team may refuse if it has exceeded the allocated time.

Once the Gcash support team receives your dispute, they will launch an investigation. You will be asked to submit additional documents to validate your claim and aid in the investigation process. The support team should go back to you within 5 working days from the date it was reported.

The cash-out process of Gcash has saved a lot of headaches from the underserved customers. Nothing is better than being able to cash in and cash out without requiring tons of paperwork.
