Do you need to transfer funds asap? Or need to purchase an item online but you ran out of Gcash balance? Worry no more because you can cash-in at your favorite convenience store.
Gcash has partnered with several establishments to make it easier for you to cash-in and out money from your account. Subscribers can either process requests through online banks or over the counter. For over the counter options, 7-Eleven is at the top of the list.
On top of grocery items, food, and drinks, 7-Eleven has expanded the services it offers making it a one stop shop for all Filipinos. With close to 3,000 branches all over the Philippines, it is a great move for these two huge corporations to partner up and serve the Filipino consumers.
Step 1. Look for a CLiQQ kiosk in the nearest 7/11 store in your area.
Step 2. Select e-money.
Step 3. Tap Gcash and enter your Gcash registered mobile number and exact amount you need to cash in. Select Next.
Note: You cannot cash in amounts less than Php 50.
Step 4. Verify all the details you entered, then hit Next.
Step 5. Print the receipt with a barcode from the machine and take it to the counter.
Step 6. Pay the amount you wish to cash in your Gcash account. The cashier will provide you with the official receipt of the transaction.
Step 7. Wait for the confirmation text message which will be sent to your registered mobile number signaling a successful transaction. In addition, you can also check your Gcash account to verify if the amount has been added.
Another option is to use the 7-Eleven CLiQQ app. To use this app, follow the instructions below:
Step 1. Download the CLiQQ app on your smartphone.
Step 2. Log-in to your CLiQQ account.
Step 3. Select e-money and tap Gcash.
Step 4. Enter your Gcash registered mobile number and amount you need to cash in. Select confirm.
Step 5. Wait for the bar code the app will provide you. Take a screenshot of the bar code. Another way to access the code is to go to the Manage Transactions tab in your CLiQQ app.
Step 6. Go to a 7-Eleven Store.
Step 7. Show the barcode to the cashier and pay the corresponding amount.
Step 8. Wait for the confirmation text message which will be sent to your registered mobile number signaling a successful transaction.
Is there a charge for cashing in at 7-Eleven?
There is no fee for the first Php 8000.00. However, you will be charged 2% of the amount that will be charged when you exceed the Php 8000 threshold. The 2% charge will be automatically deducted from the cash-in amount.
CLiQQ kiosks are available on almost all 7-Eleven stores. You can see signage outside or ask the cashier where the kiosk is. Otherwise, use the app. Both are user-friendly and easy to access.
