How to Activate Your GCash Mastercard

Once you receive your MasterCard, you’d have to activate the card to get the most out of it. The card can be linked to any Gcash account you have. You can have as many Mastercard’s as you want. But each card can only be linked to one Gcash account.

To link your card to your virtual wallet, here are the steps:

Step 1: Open your Gcash app and log in with your MPIN or fingerprint.

Step 2. Tap PROFILE at the bottom of the dashboard.

Step 3. Tap MY LINKED ACCOUNTS. Then choose Gcash Mastercard.

Step 4. Go through the instructions on the next page and select GOT IT! at the bottom of the screen.

Step 5. Hit the LINK CARD button.

Step 6. Enter the 16-digit card number which is located at the front of the card.

Step 7. Hit the LINK CARD button.

Congratulations! You have successfully linked your card.

Step 1. Dial *143# from your phone.

Step 2. Type “8” for the Gcash Option.

Step 3. Type “3” for the Gcash Card.

Step 4. Type “1” for Activated Card.

Step 5. Key-in your Gcash MPIN.

Step 6. Enter the 16-digit card number which is located at the front of the card.

After that, you can start using your Gcash Mastercard.
